Subject: A Happy Day!

First of all, it is the birthday of Caspar, the moderator of my forum and my husband. He's an old mech today and I will refrain from spilling his age out.

We are still waiting for the arrival of the Black E-hobby Starscream which should arrive this week if not next.

On top of this we are two days away from the official release of of the MP-03 Starscream in Japan. I am eagerly anticipating the arrival of this toy to the North American online shops. So hopefully I will have that on site and photographed within the next 30 days or so.

There has been lots of pictures floating around for MP-03 as well. I am really anticipating this fellow. Apparently the box does say that he contains Die Cast metal parts, so this fellow should be excellent.

In Starscream's Shrine

Decoy Starscream has arrived which is absolutely great. He's really quite cute. He has a bit of brown on him from age and being handled, but aside of that, he seems to be in really good shape. Sort of reminds me of a purple eraser.

In Starscream Generations

I have added the Happy Meal Armada Starscream to my Starscream Generations page.

I have also added the Decoy Starscream image to the Decoy Starscream entry.

More additions to the Starscream Generations page is forthcoming. We are looking forward to the Cybertron and titanium entries once Thunderscream's red pen o' doom has done its work.

So that's it for now folks,

Subject: More Starscream Goodness...

Well, for the most part, we are looking at a very prolific year for toys. To my surprise Kool toyz have acquired a release of Wave 1 of the Transformers Classics line. Perhaps to my disappointment it is so early. I will get A classics Starscream soon, but right now I am utterly broke. Reason why will follow in Starscream's shrine.

In Starscream's Shrine

Needless to say, E-bay is an evil place where people see things they think they want. Well I know I wanted this for a very long time and fortunately for me, perhaps unfortunate for the seller, there were several. Usually when there are more than one or two of an item, prices should drop. And when the prices drop, then it is the best time to catch what you want.

When I saw the E-hobby black Starscream in Toronto during the 2004 Transformerscon, he was going for about 65 Canadian. I was unable to purchase him because, well I did not have the funds that second. It never occurred to me to say, hey hold that and I'll be right back! No, instead I went to get my money and when I returned, my chance was missed. I have never regretted anything more than I did missing out on that opportunity.

Recently on E-bay there were about five or six of the E-hobby black Starscreams available. Because of this sudden "flood", I was able to snag one at an excellent price. He was a little bit more than he was at the 2004 convention, but way less than I saw him at the 2006 convention; even with shipping added on.

In Starscream Generations

I have added a few more entries into this growing section. Thanks very much to Thunderscream again for working so hard on the entries, Machine Wars Starscream, Armada Starscream, Energon Starscream.

Thunderscream remarked in a rather amused tone in an email this evening that he feels that this info page is going to be a work in progress. He is absolutely right, it will be. I just hope that we can get past the huge lump of information that it needs to get this particular page up and going as complete as I can get it.

Most of the information currently on the site will be related to the materials I have managed to acquire, most pictures with a couple exceptions, will be taken by myself.

There are a couple areas that I have not linked the Starscream Generations page to. That section is in the Toys and Games. It will be linked up there soon.

Many websites are an ongoing "under construction" place. It is good to change and update materials. It prevents the website from stagnating and becoming dull. I like my site, I enjoy it and I have a lot of fun building, tweeking and adding to it. I also know others who have had browsed this particular website and also have enjoyed it. This makes me feel that my work is serving the greater good of the transformers fandom and I will continue to do so until such time I run out of materials.

As I said in the last entry; I was working on a project and I have a good portion of the information ready. I will have to summarise part of it for one half of the project. But the actual informative portion is, in part, ready.

This page, like the rest of my website is a work in progress and will be updated and added to when the information comes by me. I will post additions to this page in the news section of the site under the heading In Starscream Generations.

I would like to extend a special thanks to Thunderscream for taking the time to edit and add to Starscream Generations. He has added and remembered bits of information that I did not know or I had forgotten.

I have also put the page live today. IRC Rules link was removed because...well, other than a few, who really do IRC. I have replaced this with Starscream Generations.

After writing this, I realise just how many Starscream toys I am actually missing... I hope to eventually land more of them in future.

Subject: The blurbs

I am going to start to have the news page in the same format as this page is. I feel that it might be easier to follow. I may or may not adjust the old news pages, it depends on my time and if I am bored enough to want to.

In Starscream's Shrine

September marks the month where the eagerly anticipated MP-03 Starscream will be released in Japan. The release date is currently rumoured at September 28th, but do not quote me on this. That release date is in Japan. It might take two weeks or so for the toys to make their way to the North American online stores and couple more weeks for them to finally arrive at your door steps. I am looking forward to the arrival of mine and I have ordered it through Kool toys.

Hopefully it will not take too long to get here, but I have managed to locate a Decoy Starscream toy on ebay. It was being sold as Skywarp but Skywarp has his arms up, and this has his arms down. So I am hoping this is the right guy or else I have myself a Skywarp Decoy and will have to locate Thundercracker and Starscream. I will have further news and pictures as soon as that arrives.

In Comics

I currently do not have a page for my comics at the moment. I need to get their covers scanned and then I hope to do a page which displays what I have managed to acquire. Until then, this note is all you get.

I picked up some of the Hearts of Steel comics the other weekend. I am really enjoying it so far. The Transformers in it are so very different yet, look somehow familiar and recognisable. From what I understand is that it is only four issues. I wish it was a few more. It is just a fresh new look at Transformers 100 years ago or so.

I was rather amused about how the Decepticons have been portrayed in this series. Talking to the humans to learn more about their technology and their economy. Just one more issue to go, I think and that series is done. I really wish this one would continue on a few more books.

Also, coming soon is a comic rehash of transformers the movie. I am really looking forward to this 4 issue series as it hopefully will lay to rest who really died on the shuttle. I am also hoping it perhaps shows more of the shuttle fight scene and exactly how Starscream managed to actually gain leadership. Whatever it shows, this should be a sweet deal.

Works In Progress

I have been working on and off my fics and whatnot slowly, but I am also working on more factual pieces for this website. Particularly information about the toys I have collected. It will benefit me as I should know a bit more about my collection and pass that information on to you. For me this is a rather daunting task, but it will prove to be both fun and educational.

I hope to have this factual information done by the time Transformerscon in Toronto rolls around.

Until another update,

- Sunstar
